Ronnie C. Brown

A native of North Carolina, Ronnie came to know the Lord at the age of seven, and was always active in church ministry in various roles and positions. Before surrendering to the call to pastoral ministry in 1984, Ronnie served in ministry positions involving Music, Youth and Education at three different churches in North Carolina. He then served for eleven years as pastor of Cornerstone Baptist in High Point, N.C. Ronnie came to Swift Creek as interim pastor in June of 1997 and was called to be their Senior Pastor in February, 1998.

Ronnie is a pastor/teacher who has a strong belief in the inerrant word of God and preaches it expositorily. He and his wonderful wife, Debbie are blessed with two precious children, Anna Beth and Aaron. His passion is to see people come to Christ and to grow to maturity in Him, primarily through the building of relationships.

Bryan Beach
Senior Associate Pastor

Bryan joined the staff of Swift Creek in September of 2007. He and his wife, Tracey, have three children: Allen (9), Brooke (6) and Drew (1).

Bryan graduated from Bridgewater College in 1988, with a BS in Business Administration. After working in retail management and the finance industry, Bryan felt God leading him into the ministry. He began his seminary study at Liberty University in the fall of 1995 and, in 1998, earned his Masters of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

After seminary, Bryan had the privilege of serving in his home church, First Baptist in Charlottesville, Virginia, as Associate Pastor of Students. From FBC Charlottesville God led Bryan to Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia where he served for over six years as Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Education.

Roger McNiel
Associate Pastor
Music and Worship

Education:

• Bachelor of Music- Belhaven College, 1972
• Master of Music- Louisiana State University, 1973

After completing his education and before surrendering to God’s call to vocational ministry, Roger taught high school music, tuned pianos, and sang with a musical group which ministered in churches throughout the United States. Roger and his beautiful wife Rebecca have served churches in Alabama, Florida, and Virginia since 1979. They have been blessed with three wonderful children; Ben, Mia, and Cara.

Roger’s passion is to lead people into a growing dynamic walk with Christ. He deeply desires to lead our volunteer music ministers in our choirs and instrumental ensembles to more fully understand and fulfill their high calling as worship leaders in the Body of Christ.

Rob Brewer
Associate Pastor of Evangelism and Missions

Rob Brewer interned at Main Street Baptist Church in 2002-2003 under the guidance of Wayne Deffinger. In 2003, Rob relocated to Kansas City, Missouri to begin a Master of Divinity degree at Midwestern Seminary. His goal was to learn how to answer questions about the Bible by knowing where to look for answers. He also had a desire to lead those around him and to motivate them to Christian action. Rob completed his graduate studies in 2008, obtaining a Master of Divinity with an emphasis on youth ministry.

Joey Rolen
Associate Pastor of Student Ministries

I am from East Tennessee and love the Tennessee Vols. I’ve worked with students for over 11 years at churches in Memphis, Jackson, and Sevierville, TN.

My college degree is from Carson-Newman and my master’s degree is from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

I have a wonderful and beautiful wife Jennifer who teaches 7th grade girls Sunday School. We love eating at Red Robin, watching movies, traveling, drinking Diet Mtn. Dew, and sports. My hobbies are fantasy football and collecting bobbleheads. Keep up with me on Facebook and Twitter

My favorite city is New York City and our favorite vacation spot is Niagara Falls, Canada.

Bryan Crouch
Associate Pastor of Children’s Ministries

Bryan has been in full-time Children’s Ministry since 2004. He was involved in Mechanical Design Engineering for several years before finally listening to God’s calling on his life. Bryan has served as Children’s Pastor at Trinity Church in Illinois, Crestmont Baptist Church in Texas and First Baptist Church in Missouri.

Bryan has developed a passion for Family Ministry and desires to involved the parents in the ministry as much as possible. He believes that the home should be the primary discipleship center for children. He believes the church is to be a training and resource center for teaching and training parents for their role in the Christian family. Bryan also desires to provide an incredible environment for children to learn and grow in their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bryan’s hobbies include playing basketball and softball. He is a HUGE Indianapolis Colts fan!!! Bryan has recently been involved in various Highland Games competitions.

Bryan joined the staff of Swift Creek in July 2011. He and his wife, Lori, have one son, Christian.
