God is changing the world through the efforts and willingness of His people to be vessels for Him. We believe that we have a holy calling to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, and so to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit. Until the return of Christ, it is the Christian’s duty and privilege to seek the fulfillment of Christ's Great Commission and to minister in His name to a needy world.
We have a choice: yield to the flesh or keep ourselves submitted to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit. There are many ways in which each member can participate with us in accomplishing God’s vision for Swift Creek Baptist Church. Using your spiritual gifts, talents, time and financial resources, we will be able to expand the Kingdom of God in unfathomable ways. There is something for everyone at Swift Creek Baptist Church. We are to be instruments of Jesus Christ.
- Swift Creek Kids - We count it a great pleasure to partner with you as
parents in building a strong spiritual foundation for your child.
- Swift Creek Students - Our Student Ministry is an exciting place
where students can find the answers to life's tough questions in our
culturally-relevant discussions. Swift Creek Students is about building relationships through Sunday school, evening discipleship classes, camps,
mission projects and various activities.
- Single Adults - We value the unique contributions of single adults in our
community and church. Whether you have never been married, are
widowed or divorced, we welcome you here. This is a ministry that
believes in community and laughter!
- Young at Heart -Those of you 50 years of age and older are encouraged to join us
for our fellowship luncheons. We meet the first Tuesday of each month October through
May from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The focus of Young at Heart is building relationships that
will both encourage and minister to others.
- Friends Ministry- Our Special Needs Ministry reaches out to individuals
ranging from preschool through adults. We strive to provide an atmosphere
of love and acceptance by laying a foundation for faith in Jesus. We utilize
developmentally appropriate Bible study lessons and activities that will
encourage and challenge each age group.
- Men's Ministry - Are you looking for a place to discuss current issues and
participate in events designed for men? The Men's Ministry exists to assist men
in developing godly relationships with their families and others through
accountability, regular fellowship times and events.
- Women's Ministry - The Women's Ministry at Swift Creek provides an
opportunity where YOU can feel free to come into this church body and get
to know other women who will encourage your blossoming relationship with the
Lord. We offer morning and evening studies, Women's Fun and Fellowship
nights, and the famous Fun Shops community outreach. We want
YOU to join us!
- Missions Ministry - The goal of the Missions Committee is to be
obedient to our Lord's command in Matthew 28:19. We seek to do
this through local, regional, North American and international missions.
We seek to provide encouragement, challenges and opportunities
for every person at Swift Creek Baptist Church to be Christ's witness
to those outside our church campus.
- Worship Ministry- The Music and Worship Ministry is here for
one central reason: to give praise and glory to our awesome God. Our
primary worship leading group is our New Covenant Choir and Orchestra.
We also have two children's choirs and a student choir.
- Prayer Ministry - The mission of this ministry is simple: To reach as many
church members as possible and pray for all who ask for prayer.
