Dear Brothers:

 

Greetings and blessings in Christ!

 

As you look ahead to the many opportunities and challenges of 2011, we invite you to join the bold and exciting movement of the Men’s Ministry here at Swift Creek. Led by Mike Mason, Jeff Newsome, and a team of representatives for each Sunday School class; our Men’s Ministry has been revitalized to exhort all men to grow spiritually and to lead their families in their Christian walk. It is our desire to provide you with the spiritual tools and support you need to walk more closely with Christ and to help lead others in their walk as well. It is our mission “To boldly challenge men to worship God, to grow in Christ, and to lead by serving families, the church and the community.”

 

This bold movement has already begun with our weekly small group discipleship classes, such as Quest for Authentic Manhood, and Raising a Modern Day Knight. More small group studies are forming throughout the year, and will be posted on this site as they form. We will also reach out to our community with other planned events such as our Golf Tournament, Manger Build, and Men’s Prayer Breakfasts. Our initiative is simple -- to provide activities that appeal to men of all interests and to connect them in a network that has a Godly influence, which will lead to accountability and support that we all need as we lead our families. We exhort you to be a part of this movement for the benefit of yourself, your children, and those that you can influence with your life.
