The Women’s Ministry of Swift Creek Baptist Church cordially invites ladies to come and join us at the 14th Annual Women's Ministry FunShops for a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend. This weekend will include exciting things such as developing new friendships, learning helpful tips on cooking ideas, making crafts, home improvement, learning about ways to plan for the future, and much more.

 

 

The best part of the weekend will be to hear challenging and motivating messages from our speaker, Leighann McCoy.

 

Leighann McCoy is a teacher and motivational speaker. She uses humor joined with deep spiritual insight to encourage others to embrace an intimate personal relationship with God that leads them to partner with Him in His kingdom work. She married Tom McCoy in 1987 and has three children; two daughters, Mikel and Kaleigh and one son, TJ.

 

Leighann graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has a Masters of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Ft. Worth, TX). She and her pastor-husband Tom have been serving in Thompson Station, TN since 1989. Leighann has written several books and in summer 2011 watch for Spiritual Warfare for Women: Winning the Battles for your Family, Friends and Home.

Cost is $20 and includes:

• Four FunShops (note, some funshops have additional fees for materials)
• Friday Dinner (Cheese Ravioli with sundried tomato cream sauce, garden salad, garlic bread and cheese cake)
• Saturday Continental Breakfast
• Saturday Lunch (Lunch: Baked potato bar with all the fixins'(chili, cheese, sourcream, bacon, chives, etc.) with a choice of garden salad or Broccoli Tomato salad, brownie sundaes for dessert)

 

FunShops are offered across 2-days, 1-Friday, 2-Saturday Morning and 1-Saturday Afternoon. When you register, you select 6-FunShops from the 22-available. You will be assigned 4-FunShops from your 6-selections.  All FunShops will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration to class size. FunShops payment is non-refundable. Child-care will NOT be provided.

 

Registration "online" is a two-phase process:; 1) Registration, and 2) Payment. When you complete your registration, you will be directed to eGiving to make payment. Upon completion of your payment, your registration for FunShops will be complete.
