On December 20, 2008, Swift Creek Baptist Church held its first annual "Build a Manger" event. The "Build a Manger" concept was originated by Mike Young, leader of Noble Warriors.
The Saturday before Christmas, dads and their children build a life-sized manger, which can be used as a tangible tool to use in teaching their children spiritual truth about the significance of Christmas. The goal is to engage, encourage and empower men to lead their families spiritually.
